Product Description
The Cürv 200L Air Source Heat Pump Hot Water Cylinder is an energy-efficient, all-in-one solution for producing domestic hot water using heat pump technology.
Rather than relying solely on direct electric heating, the integrated heat pump extracts heat energy from the surrounding air and transfers it into the stored water. With an A+ ERP energy rating and a published COP of up to 3.39 at 15°C, the Cürv is designed to deliver efficient hot water while reducing the electrical energy required compared with conventional direct electric water heating.
With a nominal 196-litre tank capacity, intelligent operating modes, integrated electric backup heating and a compact floor-standing design, the Cürv HP200M3 is suitable for a wide range of domestic applications.

Energy Efficient Hot Water
The Cürv uses an integrated refrigeration cycle to capture heat from the air and transfer that energy into the hot-water cylinder.
The system combines an evaporator, compressor, condenser and expansion valve to generate hot water efficiently, with the built-in electric backup heater available when required.
The HP200M3 achieves a published Coefficient of Performance (COP) of 3.39 at an ambient temperature of 15°C under EN16147 test conditions, demonstrating the benefit of using heat energy from the surrounding air.
Smart Operating Modes
The Cürv provides a choice of operating modes, allowing hot-water production to be adapted around household requirements.
Auto Mode – Designed for convenient everyday operation.
Eco Mode – Prioritises efficient heat-pump operation.
Boost Mode – Provides additional heating when increased hot-water demand requires it.
Holiday Mode – Designed for periods when normal hot-water demand is reduced.

Hot Water Performance
Although nominally referred to as the 200L model, the HP200M3 has a specified tank volume of 196 litres.
When operating with a 55°C cylinder setting, the manufacturer specifies up to 223 litres of usable hot water at 40°C, providing a practical supply of domestic hot water for everyday household use.
Published heat-up times are approximately:
- 4.65 hours at 15°C ambient temperature
- 5.5 hours at 7°C ambient temperature
Actual performance and energy consumption will vary according to incoming water temperature, ambient air temperature, installation configuration, hot-water demand and operating mode.
Flexible Installation
The Cürv can draw air from the surrounding environment or use ducting to an appropriate external air source, giving installers flexibility when designing the system.
Both the air inlet and outlet support a maximum stated duct length of 2.5 metres.
The compact floor-standing unit measures just 600mm × 629mm, with an overall height of 1692mm, allowing the heat-pump technology and hot-water storage cylinder to be incorporated into a single unit.
