In January 2024, friends Russell Keenan and Michael Carruthers launched Leaf Eco Electrical, inspired by their shared commitment to sustainability and practical environmental solutions.

Russell, a doctor and scientist, has always been drawn to eco-conscious innovation. In 2006, he designed and constructed a fully self-sufficient home, powered entirely by renewable energy sources without relying on fossil fuels. His home combines wind turbines, solar panels, and air and ground source heat pumps, along with systems for sustainable water and wastewater management. Throughout this journey, Russell discovered how difficult it was to find accessible, expert information on environmental technologies, motivating him to make these options more available and practical for others.

Mike, a chartered accountant, grew up immersed in his family’s electrical supply business, where he gained a deep respect for customer service, quality, and reliability. His business expertise, combined with Russell's technical experience, became the foundation of Leaf Eco Electrical.

Together, they created Leaf Eco Electrical to offer high-quality, affordable eco-friendly products, making it easier for individuals and businesses to embrace sustainable solutions. Our mission is simple: to bring reliable, environmentally friendly technology within reach for everyone.
